On this episode of Herndon Farmer’s Market Tooran stops by the farmer’s market to get vegetables and chat with Jose from Mt. Olympus Farm and Jose from Santa Cruz Produce. Later in studio she grills the vegetables.
Episode Recipe: Grilled Vegetables
Ingredients:
3 Color Peppers
1/2 zebra Eggplant
1/2 Japanese Eggplant
1/2 Italian Eggplant
1/2 Onion
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar (or to taste)
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Dry Mint
1/2 tsp Dry Basil
(optional) Teriyaki Sauce
Directions
:
1. Cut all the vegetables in 1/2 inch
2. Grill Each side (4 minutes)
