In 2011, the Herndon Police Crime Prevention Council sponsored a forum on Emergency Preparedness. Guests included representatives from the Herndon Police Department, the Virginia State Police and the offices of the Fairfax and Loudoun County Emergency Management team. In preparation for Hurricane Joaquin, HCTV will rebroadcast this program on Saturday, Oct 3 at 11:30 am, Sunday, Oct 4 at 5:00 am and Sunday, Oct 4 at 5:00 pm.
