Congratulation HCTV Volunteers!
On Sunday, April 10th, volunteers from the Town of Herndon were recognized for their contributions at the annual Mayor’s Volunteer appreciation night at the Herndon Community Center. This year Jack Norcross won the teen Distinguished Service Award for both his work with HCTV as well as his other volunteer contributions through Herndon High School Key Club and St. Timothy’s Episcopal. Also, Blake Rose, president of Herndon Community Television, was honored for his contribution of over 400 hours of service to HCTV with the Mayor’s distinguished service award. Many other HCTV volunteers were present for the night’s festivities in recognition of contributing over 100 hours of service to HCTV. Herndon Community Television is primarily a volunteer run station. Herndon Community Television would not exist without the dedication of their volunteers.
