HCTV Broadcast Thursday January 30
At 1pm we will be showing “Perils for Pedestrians”, which will be followed by “Travel TV”. At 2pm we are showing “Service Above Self – Basic Computing Concepts”. At 2:30pm will be a broadcast of “Creating Cooperative Kids”. At 3:30pm we are showing “Fantastic Forum” the award-winning, Washington, DC based television series on comics, science fiction, fantasy and their related multimedia.
At 4pm we will be showing some vintage HCTV concerts at the Herndon Festival, beginning with “The Hubcaps” and followed by Virginia born songwriter Matt Commerce. At 6pm HCTV will show “Jazzercise”, and at 6:30pm “NASA 360”. At 7pm we are broadcasting “NASA Connect”.
At 7:30pm we are showing classic movie “Beat the Devil”. A 1953 film directed by John Huston, the movie concerns adventures of a motley crew of swindlers and ne’er-do-wells trying to lay claim to land rich in uranium deposits in Kenya as they wait in a small Italian port to travel aboard a steamer en route to Mombasa. Cast includes Humphrey Bogart, Jennifer Jones, Gina Lollobrigida, Robert Morley, Peter Lorre and Bernard Lee.
At 9pm HCTV will show “News You Can Use”, and at 9:30pm “Charlie’s Organizers”. At 10pm, HCTV will broadcast “All Aboard Pennsylvania Railroad” followed by a rebroadcast of “Fantastic Forum”.
