8:00 PM – “In Focus: Paragliding Tour – Walking and Flying in the Alps” Paragliding down from Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze, to one of Germany’s most beautiful lakes, the Königssee, is an amazing experience. Our documentary follows the flight of two paragliders who are normally found competing at international paragliding events such as the Red Bull X-Alps competition. But in this case we catch the couple soaring leisurely over the Alps like a bird. When airborne over long distances, the paragliders don’t relax in comfortable hotels, they bivouac on the mountain, hence the nickname for their hobby: “walk and fly”, and they always travel light. This program was shot from high in the air over the Alps and follows the two athletes through their experiences at thousands of feet above the ground.

Is this yet another medical concern we should think about? What happens when Jeff heads into the Rocky Mountains in search of seafood? Tune in to find out!
