Watch the debut performance of Steve Coffee’s folk opera, Rain Follows the Plow, at ArtSpace Herndon from February 8th. Rain Follows the Plow is a unique, collaborative musical project based on an album-length song cycle about the Dust Bowl, written by Oklahoma native, Steve Coffee. In an era threatened by ecological catastrophe, the songs comprise an instructive and cautionary tale, perhaps not completely too late. The premiere of this folk opera features a full cast of DC area’s top American/contemporary folk performers.

The Sun Dance performance company spring concert was held at the Herndon Senior Center on April 23rd. Under the direction of Michele Koros & “C” Culpepper the performer create an experience to relive that magic time with hits from The Jackson Five, Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson and many others.
