Memorial Day in Herndon Event

This Monday at 10am at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, in Herndon there will be a Memorial Day observance, to include the ceremonial Avenue of Flags. This event will include Herndon Naval Junior ROTC Color Guard. Guest speaker will be Dr. Duane Young, MAJ. US Army (Ret). Sponsored by the American Legion, Post 184. Town offices will be closed Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. Refuse normally collected Monday will be collected Tuesday, May 27.
